
EFOX PORTABLE OXYGEN SYSTEM
The followind is an extract from the Flight Manual Supplement for an EFOX Portable Oxygen System:

Introduction.
The EFOX Portable Oxygen System is approved for providing supplemental oxygen to flight crew
and passengers in this aircraft. The system consists of a replaceable cylinder, regulator with
positive shut-off outlets, restraint harness, Nasal Dispenser Assemblies with connectors,
1 only dispenser covering the nose and mouth, and for systems approved to 25,000' only,
dispensers covering the nose and mouth, fitted with microphones.
SYSTEM COMPONENTS
1. 'C' Size Oxygen cylinder as specified below.
2. Regulator assembly Part No. EFR192Q4
3. Harness assembly Part Nos. EFCH-1 and EFCH-2
4. Nasal Dispenser assemblies Part No. EFNA3Q. ( 4 off)
5. Dispenser Flowmeter assemblies Part No. EFNA4Q ( 2 off)*
6. Mask Dispenser Scott Part No. 28301-10.
7. Mask Dispenser Scott Part No. 28316-10.*
8. Spare high pressure seals Part No. EFOXSC
9. Sealable storage bags for 2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8.
CYLINDER REQUIREMENTS
The following only may be used in this system:
'C' size Medical Oxygen cylinder.
LIMITATIONS 1. Maximum operating altitude 18,000' using Nasal Dispensers.
Maximum operating altitude 25,000' using approved Masks fitted
to Dispenser Flowmeter Assemblies Part No. EFNA4Q.
2. Aircraft must have functional cabin heater.
No passenger may occupy the same seat as the Oxygen System.
Note: The contents gauge must be visible to the pilot in flight,
and he must be able to operate the cylinder valve and outlet connectors.
Store dispensers in sealed bags in seat pockets.

Note: B.O.C. 'C' size Medical Oxygen Cylinders Are now filled to 480 litres, leaving about 460 l. usable.
