EFM can supply pin load cells from 10 mm to 200 mm diameter, and up to a metre long.

These are installed as axles in wire rope sheaves, rollers, and rail and road wheels, as the pin in tongue and clevis joints. They measure the shear load, either as a cantilever, or spanning between two bearings.

EFM Pin load cells are manufactured to fit customers' bearing geometry. The instrumentation is sealed in the centre of the bar, with a glanded cable entry or connector at one end.
